| Marmoleum is a natural product range that uses raw materials from renewable sources. These raw materials include: |
- Limestone – very finely ground, an important ingredient of Marmoleum
- Wood flour – used to bind the pigments and to ensure colourfastness
- Resin – Another binding agent that provides strength and flexibility
- Cork flour – made by grinding the bark of the cork oak, which is grown around the Mediterranean. Bulletin Board and Corklinoleum
- Pigments – the most beautiful colours are created by using ecologically responsible pigments that do not contain heavy metals such as lead and cadmium
- Jute – to provide a natural backing to the floor covering
- Linseed oil – used especially in linoleum, it optimises the oxidation process. Obtained by pressing the seeds of the flax plant.
| Marmoleum state that their product needs replacing somewhere between 25 and 40 years. |
